I have been making quesadillas for years. This technique of putting egg mixture on first and then tortilla is just the opposite of what I have always done. I think it is genius. And, as with any quesadilla, the ingredient options are amazing. I would add some herbs to the egg mix, could be any combination. I could even see this going a bit sweet for dessert by adding a spoonful of sugar to the egg mix, with some sweet spices such as cinnamon and cardamom and some fruit such as apples or berries. Maybe a dollop of sweetened cream on the top. So good. Thanks for the great idea….

This is our go-to breakfast now, thanks for sharing this. I add garlic, thyme and parsley to the mix first. After pouring into the skillet I sprinkle shredded cheese on it before adding the tortilla. Flip it, add more cheese, ham, spinach and tomato and we’re good to go. 🙂

Very Nice Recipe!, it’s like an Asian Quesadilla. Personally, I’d use Regular Salted Butter for frying the Tortilla and Egg, I don’t have enough room in my Refrigerator to keep 2 types of Butter. Unsalted Butter = the same amount of Fat and NONE of the flavor

I wish I could eat breakfast tomorrow morning but I can’t because we have no water in our apartment and no toilet facility for flushing it and the public bathrooms are far away and who can plan a bathroom break when you gotta go you gotta go and have you ever used a public bathroom for number 2And half the time the paper cover s won’t stay on the toilet facility and you can’t sit on toilet after others it could have bad germs on it or something else maybe a pile of sand jumping LoL

5 minutes to make this?? No way. No way I am going to buy all the cooking equipment she uses and chop everything into tiny pieces and have to wash all that stuff after eating. Just throw the stuff onto a pan with some good MCT oil and then add the eggs and then wash your hands for the botulism and go back to the stove and stir it up some. Add a piece of whole grain bread and eat out of the pan. That is simple.

I really enjoy many of these creative food ideas that drop into my suggestions box from time to time, but I really despair when I see those hideous fake burger cheese slices being added to these mouthwatering dishes. I wouldn’t feed a starving dog that disgusting excuse for cheese. So why any human would happily choose to eat it I don’t know! It baffles me.
